and isn't that one of those things we love-to-hate-to-love about life?
i went to a job interview today. i scheduled the interview for this morning at 9 am. i checked my calendar and saw that i was working monday. so that means tuesday morning i'll be free, right?
DUH!!
monday NIGHT i worked (last night) and so right after work (730 am) i went home, changed, and then went to the interview. this position is for per diem (on call, basically) and i can bring in some extra money every month so that i'm not scraping by (or borrowing (ugh. it makes me cringe.)). i'm looking forward to the additional experience. the hospital i currently work at does not care for neonates or pediatrics (they get shipped to children's hospital). however, the new place i'm applying at does have a pediatric and neonates floors. i'm really excited.
now i just need to make sure i get sleep...
